Fresh updates from inside the salon!

As our Tiffany’s Salon and Spa team prepares to return to the salon, we want to assure our clients that we are taking all the necessary precautions to ensure the comfort and safety of you and our staff. As a salon, we fall under the Phase II of the reopening of RI businesses and for the foreseeable future we will be strictly abiding by the guidelines that have been set by the Rhode Island Department of Health. The following are our improved Safety and Health Protocols that will be carried out by our staff and that we ask you to abide by while on our premises. We thank you for your cooperation and patience during these unprecedented times.

 

For your safety, our staff will be implementing the following policies:

● Clients without an appointment will not be permitted to enter the premises.

● We are limiting the number of individuals in the building at any given time.

● Please do not come into the salon if you have symptoms of coronavirus. (Please reference the following link to the Centers of Disease Control and Prevention) https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/symptoms-testing/symptoms.html

● There is an extremely high demand for appointments. More now than ever it is of the utmost importance that you notify us at least 48 hours in advance if you cannot make it to your appointment. If you do not give us 48 hours notice, you will be subject to a cancellation fee.

Upon your Arrival:

1. We will no longer have an indoor waiting area. Please remain outside the building or in your vehicle and call us to let us know you are here for your appointment (401)245-3232. Your technician will come outside to escort you into the building.

2. No outdoor food and beverage will be permitted inside the building so please enjoy before entering.

3. You must be wearing a mask in order to enter the building.

When inside the premises:

1. We have placed physical distancing indicators throughout the salon (The Tiffany’s salon logo). Please respect social distancing to the best of your ability.

2. We will alcohol-based hand sanitizer placed throughout the salon and on each technician station for your use.

3. We will no longer be taking coats, they must remain in the client’s possession or by their stylist’s station for the entirety of the appointment.

4. We will not be supplying magazines and reading materials during this time. You are welcome to bring your own.

5. Each client will receive a new, disposable cape

6. We ask that you wear your mask at all times. If you touch your mask, please thoroughly wash your hands for at least 20 seconds or sanitize your hands.

7. We will not be offering coffee or tea at this time, water bottles are available upon request. 8. We ask that you do not handle retail products. Please ask a staff member for assistance.

Checking out:

1. Our card machines are equipped with contactless payment; this includes Apple Pay. In addition to this option, we could also collect and securely store your credit card information before or upon your arrival.

2. Gloves will be worn by our receptionists if a cash transaction must take place. We will be requesting clients to place the card into the machine themselves for payment. The card machines and desk area will be disinfected after each transaction. Our Staff’s Cleaning & Safety

Procedures:

1. We have measured and ensured that there is a minimum of six feet between each technician’s station.

2. All surfaces in the restroom will be sanitized consistently throughout the day.

3. Door handles, railings, and countertops will be wiped down with a disinfectant each passing client.

4. Our color station will be disinfected after each use.

5. If the weather is in our favor, we will be opening windows to allow for increased ventilation and air flow.

6. Our technicians will wear new disposable capes for each service.

7. Technicians will be wearing a mask for the duration of the service.

8. Technicians will be sanitizing their tools and supplies after each service.

9. The entire premises will be sanitized at the closing of the day. All floors will be cleaned with a hepa-vacuum and mopped with a disinfectant.

A side note…

We are anticipating that the length of our services may be affected by our updated cleaning and safety policy. This may not be the case, however we ask for your understanding and flexibility as we acclimate to these new policies.
